Bot Terms & Privacy

Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the Homestead Discord bots: Obsidra, Obsidra Music, and M.U.L.E. One set of terms for all three.

Terms of Service
Applies to all three Homestead Discord bots.

Applies to Obsidra, Obsidra Music, and M.U.L.E. · Operator: Davin (ItzDabbzz) · Contact: conduct@homestead.systems · Effective 27 September 2026

1. Acceptance

By adding any Homestead Discord bot to a server, or by using one of its features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, remove the bot from your server. These Terms apply to Obsidra, Obsidra Music, and M.U.L.E. individually and together.

2. Who operates the bots

The bots are operated by Davin (ItzDabbzz) ("Homestead", "we", "us"). These Terms are between you and Davin (ItzDabbzz). Discord is not a party to these Terms; the bots operate on the Discord platform under Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which continue to apply to your use of them.

3. Your responsibilities

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You may only configure and use the bots in a server you own or administer, or with the express permission of someone who does. You may not use the bots to break the law, to harass or harm anyone, to infringe the rights of others, to distribute malware, or to circumvent Discord's rate limits or technical restrictions. Automated or bulk use that degrades Discord's platform for others is prohibited.

4. Permitted use and enforcement

We may change, suspend, limit, or remove any feature at any time, and may remove the bots from any server, in order to keep the service working, to comply with Discord or the law, or to address abuse. Moderation features such as anti-nuke, anti-raid, timeouts, bans, and role removal act on the instructions of your server's moderators; we do not independently review or overturn those actions.

5. No warranty

The bots are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the bots will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be retained. You are responsible for your own backups and for complying with any legal obligations your server's use of the bots creates.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Davin (ItzDabbzz) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, messages, roles, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the bots. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Davin (ItzDabbzz) from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the bots, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of Discord's Terms.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the bots after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the bots at any time by removing them from your server. We may terminate this agreement at any time, including for breach of these Terms, by removing the bots and deleting associated data. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive it.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these Terms, or notices under them, should be sent to conduct@homestead.systems.

Privacy Policy
What the bots collect, why, who can see it, and how to get it removed.

Applies to Obsidra, Obsidra Music, and M.U.L.E. · Operator: Davin (ItzDabbzz) · Contact: conduct@homestead.systems · Effective 27 September 2026

What we collect

The bots read and store data from servers where they are configured to do so. Data is associated with Discord user and server IDs, and with the Discord account you use to access the Homestead dashboard. We do not collect data from servers where a feature is switched off, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

Complete list of data categories

What follows is every category of data the bots can store. Each is off unless a server enables it.

  • Server and member records — server configuration, member join times, roles, and per-member settings.
  • Event logs — moderation, channel, message, role, invite, thread, voice, presence, reaction, and auto-mod events, each with a summary and structured metadata.
  • Message content — when message logging is enabled, the content of an edited message is captured before and after the edit (truncated), and deleted-message metadata such as author and attachments is recorded.
  • Invite tracking — invite codes, who created each invite, and when members joined or left through it.
  • Levelling — experience points, level, accumulated voice activity time, and the last time a member was seen.
  • Trust profiles — scores derived from account age, join time, message count, and role membership, with optional manual overrides.
  • Moderation actions — warnings, reasons, timeouts, bans, and the moderator who issued them.
  • Support tickets — ticket contents, answers, and the staff member who claimed them.
  • Verification state — per-member verification status, CAPTCHA identifiers, and expiry times.
  • Feature content — greeting messages, starboard entries, Dope Finds posts, giveaways, autorooms, sticky messages, and reaction-role panels.
  • Dashboard accounts — if you sign in to the Homestead dashboard, your email address, name, and linked Discord account.

How we use data

Data is used to operate the features you enable: to post event logs to your log channel, to calculate levels and trust scores, to enforce anti-nuke and anti-raid limits, to run ticket flows, to attribute invite joins, and to show configuration in the dashboard. Data is not used for advertising.

Where data is stored and who can see it

Data is stored on infrastructure operated by Davin (ItzDabbzz). It is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Server moderators and administrators can see the data their own server generates through the bot's log channels and dashboard. Discord itself processes message content as part of delivering the platform.

Retention

Event logs, moderation records, and message-logging records are retained only while the corresponding feature is enabled on your server. Disabling a feature stops further collection. Data is removed when a bot is removed from a server, and on request. Because the bots operate within a server, a server owner may also delete any log channel holding records; copies held in a log channel you can delete are removed with it.

Data requests and deletion

To request a copy of the data associated with your Discord account, or to request deletion, email conduct@homestead.systems from the Discord account in question. We may ask you to confirm you own that account. We will respond to verifiable requests and delete or export the associated data as appropriate. If you are a server owner, you can also request removal of all data for your server.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including restricting dashboard access to authenticated and authorised users. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify affected server owners and affected users where we are legally able to do so.

Children

The bots are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Servers operated for children are responsible for their own compliance with applicable law.

International transfers and changes

Data may be processed on infrastructure located outside your country, subject to the laws of the location of processing. We may revise this Policy as the bots change; the Effective Date reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the bots after a revision constitutes acceptance.

The bots
The Terms and Privacy Policy above apply to all three. Each card lists what that specific bot can store.
Obsidra
Our original community bot, built on Red-DiscordBot and heavily customized. Moderation, welcomes, logging, tickets, and reaction roles.

Data Obsidra can store

  • Moderation actions: warnings, kicks, bans, and timeouts, with the issuing moderator and reason.
  • Event logs for moderation, channel, message, role, invite, thread, and voice changes.
  • Message content when message logging is enabled — before/after for edits, metadata for deletions.
  • Greeting messages, welcome and goodbye configuration, and reaction-role panels.
  • Support tickets and their answers.

Obsidra reads and writes to channels it has been given permission for. It does not read direct messages.

Obsidra Music
Voice music and queue management for Obsidra servers. Playback, playlists, and voice channel activity.

Data Obsidra Music can store

  • Voice channel activity needed to operate queues and report now-playing information.
  • Per-server music configuration such as volume limits, queue mode, and permitted channels.
  • Playlist entries created by server members, where the feature is enabled.

Obsidra Music requires the Connect permission. It processes audio through Discord voice; it does not record or store audio.

M.U.L.E.
Our newest bot. Moderation and anti-nuke, trust scoring, invite attribution, levelling, starboards, giveaways, Dope Finds, verification, and autorooms.

Data M.U.L.E. can store

  • Anti-nuke, anti-raid, and verification state, including per-member verification and CAPTCHA identifiers.
  • Trust profiles: scores from account age, join time, message count, and role membership, with optional manual overrides.
  • Invite tracking: invite codes, the inviter, and join/leave attribution for each invite.
  • Levelling: experience, level, accumulated voice time, and last-seen timestamps.
  • Starboard entries, Dope Finds posts, giveaways and entries, and autoroom assignments.
  • Event logs across moderation, channel, message, role, invite, thread, voice, presence, reaction, and auto-mod events.

M.U.L.E. can read messages in channels it is given access to, for the purpose of the features you enable. Trust and anti-nuke features are off by default and must be turned on by a server administrator.
